These children are running through the south Louisiana swamp of my mind, harboring fears of the imagined (but unseen) folkloric Loup-Garou. The legend of this fearsome creature was sometimes used to keep children from misbehaving. Although I chose to exclude the Loup-Garou itself from the scene, other nocturnal critters silently lurk in the rich flora of the swampland.
