Getting some color down on this one. One of a series of two smaller city scene paintings that I am currently working on. Very pleased with them both so far. Tentatively titled: Oh It Makes you Want to Dance! For me, as an artist, it is incredibly difficult to bring my imaginings to fruition. It is an evolutionary process from idea to fruition and the final results are often a delightful surprise, much changed from my initial conception. I seldom plan color, for example. I sit down, look at the drawing and pick up a tube of paint as a matter of instinct and intuition.
